-Lead Dog Trainer-

Mia's main passion is pet dog training such as obedience, fun trick training, agility foundations, and behavioural modification. She is a recognised trainer with the Guild Of Dog trainers, one of only three in the Durham area as well as being a member of BIPDT.

Mia is qualified as a MOD Patrol dog handler and Arms and Explosive Search Dog handler.

Level 3 Diploma in Service Animal Management

And she is currently studying her Level 4 Accredited Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour.

Mia is a Veteran and served in the British Army as a dog handler and handled and trained numerous dogs in both Protection and Firearms and Explosive Detection roles. Deploying on numerous exercices and roles around the UK and abroad.

Before her career in the British Army, Mia competed in Kennel Club agility achieving Grade 5 and competed for England at the Open Junior Agility Championships.

Mia Now trains her Dutch Herder Nova for protection dog sports and competes all over the UK achieving 2nd place at the AVD e.v trials in puppy class and 2nd place Level 1 Lorockmor Defend and Persue. Mia has recently titled her Dutch Herder, Nova, gaining an IGP BH title, and is now working towards a brand new sport in the UK called PSA.

Kevin instructs in all of our services including obedience for both pet and working dogs, specialising in creating high standard obedience for sports. As well as behavioural modification and he is one of the main decoys for all bite work training for various purposes including sports/trials, personal protection and service dogs.

Kevin started Voodoo to pursue the passion in helping other handlers in developing and building an all-round capable, level and skilled working dog. His previous experience in the security industry and IPO/IPG sport has proven to develop some fantastic working dogs that are stable in both the working and family environment. He was previously a graded helper (decoy) in IPO and decoyed in the UK and abroad for various clubs.

Kevin's passion is mainly the rottweiler breed but has owned numerous breeds including the Presa Canario, Giant Schnauzer, German Shepherd, and various bull dogs. All of which have been trained to a high standard either being moved onto security roles, successful sport roles gaining various titles. As well as active personal protection dogs and service dogs.

Kevin has titled his Giant Schnauzer, Hektor "Uran Von Elberfeld" in the sport IGP gaining a BH title and his IGP 1, as well as Chilli Radinie completing her IGP BH!
