Before conducting sessions for bite work, dogs must be assessed to determine their suitability for what the owner aims to achieve with their dogs whether that be for service dog roles, personal protection, trials or sports. The assessment process will cover an in depth conversation regarding training goals and plans, assessing the dogs capability and the dogs training history and obedience levels, as well as discussing control and responsible working dog ownership.
Bite work sessions for the working dog - tailored for the dog's role whether that be personal protections, sports, trials, or service dogs. Work on numerous criteria for your dog including bark and holds, environmentals, building searches, grip development, bite technique and mechanics, targeting, and addressing training problems.
Developing high standard obedience for sports and trials including IGP, UK trails such as AVD and Lorockmor Defend and Pursue, Mondioring and PSA.
Got more than one dog? Want to tie training multiple dogs into one session? Additional fees apply for an extra dog.

Hektor The Working Giant Schnauzer - bus scenario 'URAN VON ELBERFELD'
Our recent ringsport training day was a huge success. Ranging from puppies starting their career, young adults making progress, and adult dogs that are tidying up their skills ready to enter trials. We had a range of breeds attend too which is always lovely to see. We had demonstrations of each element of the sport and what is required for each category. We were super impressed with the students dogs that came to take part and we are very excited to go from here with Voodoo Ringsport! A big thank you to Arry James for decoying and running the day, keep your eyes peeled for the dates for more Ringsport training.
Nithelsa Giant Schnauzers paid us a visit and what a fantastic session with young Nina aka "Voodoo Boo" the Giant Schnauzer. Nina is in training for a sport called IGP (formally known as IPO/Schutzhund) and we worked on basic skills such as grip work to build a strong foundation for Nina's future in the sport. Nina is showing great potential and we really look forward to following this young female in the sport!
Here's a few clips of the things we've been up to lately! This is just a few of the dogs that have been through the doors here at Voodoo K9 Academy inbetween the hustle and bustle of the transition to the new venue. As there are so many dogs lining up to get in for sessions we have only been able to get a few of you in so thank you for your patience while we renovate the new home of Voodoo K9 Academy. Very proud of all of the progress that has been made in the short time of the working sessions returning.
Check out Hektor the Giant Schnauzer after his training session having a cool down by the industrial fan which ensures our venue is kept cool for our dogs! Welfare is our top priority. Also thank you to Clatter Supplies for our accessories! We absolutely love them!
